I think it's too pretentious, impractical, austere and cold. The B&W whilst 'nice' is really not my thing - for me, it's more appropriate for intimately related family members. For everyone else (aside from Hello! readers, maybe?) it's far too saccharine and cloying.
The typography is like a bad manifestation of some post-modern classical album sleeve - it's unfriendly, uninviting and bleak.
I don't know how closely you've aimed for your 'target market' - I know it's a lame question - but how would your grandparents receive this?
Sorry, man - though you look like a lovely couple and I'm sure that, regardless of what a bunch of equally pretentious 'designers' across the world think, you'll have a lovely time.
Just don't overdesign everything - humble is sweet.
