  Re physical/mental stress: That's nothing new at all. Performance artist Chris Burden had someone shoot him in the arm several times for one piece. The pain and stress is part of the process.

  I agree that this is disgusting and horrible. However, I just can't dismiss something as being banal or worthless simply because the content is revolting. Historically some of the most significant works or statements have also been horrific. Maybe this has something quite significant to say. Maybe it doesn't.
  I still don't think I want to see it though. It's down the street from me. Maybe I'll do some investigative reporting for the sake of QBNers.
