Career changes never work. Look what happened when Michael Jordan tried to play baseball. Or when Jeffrey Archer tried to become a politician. Or when Bill Gates tried to become a gentleman.
Every day I see tired old designers lined up at the Salvation Army, waiting for their handout of soup and used clothes. Just keep your nose to the grindstone, learn to keep your thoughts from wandering, and move up whatever ladder is in front of you.
