^ I'm clearly projecting in that post. I don't even compare to the situation above, but people always tell me to be more "emotional". Whatever that means.

    • Really? I have always been told I am too emotional, or that I let emotion cloud my judgement.MrOneHundred
    • yes, really. It's good and bad. I try to see all sides of an argument, but this also irritates lots of people.Jaline
    • Emotions are for poor people.flavorful
    • Well, cold logic can allow you to “see” both sides of a story, but emotion allows empathy...MrOneHundred
    • ...so you can end up at the same place, but I prefer to be emotional – in fact, I love it.MrOneHundred
    • Yes, sorry, I didn't mean that emotional ppl can't see both sides. I have emotions. I just try hard to not reveal them.

    • Maybe it's because my mom is very emotional and I don't want to be like her at all.Jaline

    • Not at all. I can see why you feel that way. A lot of people see it as weakness.MrOneHundred
    • how about you, Mr.100? Any parents you can blame it on?

    • Showing emotions is weakness. Which is why I rarely give anyone compliments, but love when I receive them...flavorful
    • It's like 2 for 1. Firstly I'm getting a compliment, and secondly I'm realizing the person is human and therefore expendable.flavorful
    • * expendable.flavorful
    • My Dad is emotional but he squashed it for 50+ years – I vowed never to do that.MrOneHundred
    • LOL @ emotions are for poor people!_salisae_
    • Emotions can make you rich when you have nothing else.MrOneHundred
    • hahaha, flavorful. wonder twins!
I wish I could be less awkward about that stuff, Mr.100. Don't change :)

    • Thanks Jaline, I won’t. You could try to be more emotional, though.
