Hey, just be thankful you're not in America!
Food's only going to get more expensive in the short term, now we're well into peak oil and we're using food grain for the idiotic production of fuel.
Also (and I can't remember where I read it) Wheat's going to get more expensive too, as some fungus wipes out stocks worldwide.
WOOOOOO - remember all those post apocalyptic movies we watched when we were younger? Well, that's where we're heading, nuclear conflagration or no.
