I don't understand why they would make a movie about her and not Christina Aguilera who is much more inters... oh wait, Akira... Okay, I thought it, said shakira.
This film will be about as good as "Transformers, the movie" so I for one will not be waiting excitedly with child-like anticipation of great things to come.
I also heard, via and unsubstantiated blog source that there is talk of making a film/cgi hollywood version of Ghost in the Shell. Now that would be especially and magnificently fucking crap.
