I used to paint bikes for a company that krts worked with. We did many different paint processes that wasnt necessarily chameleon. You can do a flat color base coat and apply multiple colors of clear mixed with pearls, if you take a red pearl and apply it over a red base coat and then apply a small amount of candy red mixed with clear that shit will look electrified under flourescent street lights. I miss that job, but then again I dont miss the bullshit paychecks. I loved painting though. We used to do motorcycle gas tanks alot also. FUN FUN FUN when playing around in a $100,000 paint booth.
