When I was 18 and traveling from NY state across the Canadian border w/my buddy (who was only 22) we not only got stopped and questioned as to what were doing... the pricks literally tore his car apart. Seats removed... wheels removed and searched... all our luggage / cds (hundreds of discs in sleeves) / belongings were completely opened/emptied out into boxes...
... it was like that scene in 'The Six Pack' (with Kenny Rogers!!) where the kids strip Kenny's car down at the beginning...
... they didn't bother with me as much as my buddy Jay... they asked some of the WEIRDEST questions - one of them:
"What was the name of your Kindergarten Teacher?"
I guess they thought we were running drugs into Canada or something (hahaha)...
4+ hours he was questioned while I sat locked in a room by myself.
They left the tools outside so we could put the tires back on the car... we had to of course pack everything back up again too...
... absolutely ridiculous.
