"In this startling vignette, called “Faith,” the contained energy displayed in the previous vignettes is released to music that could have come straight from the Gladiator soundtrack. Son shows amazing grace, strength, and flexibility in the lead role of a renegade female participant in the Games, which he helped choreograph with the KDU.
But nuances of feeling escape him. Magnificent when he's direct, he can't convey Faith's confusion at discovering her sexual powers or her newfound playfulness as a lover. He attacks the choreography boldly, ignoring its musical phrasing."
