Yeah the new consoles can block games by their rating I do believe. I haven't tested it obviously as I'm with out child. If that curse should ever befall me then I wouldn't let them play most of the harsh games until the were 16. After that they can play what ever they want. I grew up playing games since I was 5 or 6. I think i've turned out just fine.
