I was in line at a Starbucks a while back and some 15 year dude was with his (i assume) dad in what appeared to be the classic "divorced dad spending time with his kid on the weekend." The dad looked at his kid's shirt and asked what kind of band it was for. The kid sneered, "Ugh, it's emo."
Dad didn't hear him right and said "Ewo? What like Iwo Jima?"
I snorted a laugh. They both turned and looked at me, and I brightly announced, "Actually, it is in a way."
The kid screwed up his face and said to me "Is that, like, Hawaiin or something?"
