They belong on investigation and a paid leave until the truth can be sorted out.
if these men in anyway were asserting their 'authority' in a manner that's abusive...
... then yes - punishment... even imprisonment is fine by me.... this is just one situation though.
Last week in a phoenix a cop was shot in the face on a routine traffic... //WHAT A PUSSY!! Right?!!

My point is that it's exceptionally dangerous out there... to expect perfection from the police is just silly...
... but to hate on them is even sillier. There are bad eggs in every realm of this world... in every business... that's all I'm saying, dude... the majority of cops are still good people... and they're exceptionally underpaid for the risk they put themselves in everyday.
