Remember you're a designer. Design is done using predominantly the brain, not the hands.
Therefore, it's important to show that you have a strong brain, and then to a lesser extent the hands.In other words, you will be hired on your ideas rather than your production skills, especially at a junior level. If you can show that you have a little print experience then that's good. But I assume you're not going for a job as a production artworker so print skills are something you will learn on the job.
