    ... if i'm understanding your Q right...

    i believe in adobe apps... (illy for sure)... you have both uncoated and coated palette options (I assume you're talking about PMS tones here)...

    ... and also note... it doesn't matter really - if you set up your file correctly (for the appropriate amount of colors)... then it'll be up to the printer to get the inks right.

    Specific colors on your computer really don't mean shit if the printer opens the wrong can...

    ... my point is there is no need to 'convert' palettes...
