Sigh, I have lost friends to suicide, I have lost friends to being murdered, others to car accidents/disease, and have been the lucky person to get phone calls or letters addressed to me before failed suicide attempts.

As such, coupled with other fantastic events in my life, I guess the whole "feelings" thing does not come to me very well.

Depression is a topic that comes up on this board a lot (or I just notice it), and none of it seems warranted in the least to be honest. Every single day a thread could be created about someone sad that the sky doesn't look as blue to them today, or that they can't hear the trains rumble quite as loudly.

I guess usually I stay out of most of these threads, because I know my views on the matter don't coincide with the usual, "Hey it will be better, keep your chin up" mentality most of you have. Which is good, do not get me wrong. I think both sides are good.

Well, I guess mine really isn't - but if someone really did decide to kill them self after reading something I wrote on the internet, well then perhaps the world is a better place after all.

Perhaps though these are my actual feelings, and as opposed to being devoid of them I am in fact just a horrible person but c'est le vie.

You can't change the past, so why harp on it.
