So I played for a bit, split screen campaign mode. Firstly, I couldn't get onto x-live for the life of me, I guess they were overloaded. That was annoying. Also, the split screen did not utilize my full 42 inch screen. There were 3 inch black strips on each side. a total waste. GoW totally uses the full screen in split screen mode. We only played for a little while, but I have to say we were both kind of underwhelmed. Granted it was both of our first Halo experiences, and we hadn't been drawn to it by love but by curiosity mostly, but it's not living up to the hype imo. I'll keep playing tho. It's not terrible.
