but I'm pretty sure they're screwed and if we're just talking invoices, yeah, we're talking 6 - 8 years tops for holding onto that kind of thing.

I mean fuck..we keep that stuff out in the open for about three years and then it's off to the crawlspace and then we toss anything older than ten years back there...besides, there's spiders back there. Big ones.
