    Here the agencies are paying 900 for newbies > 1200 for senior designers.

    If you´re a experienced guy, you can get 1500... but much more is not easy.

    I do 1800 now like CD (post taxes) with a great calendar and never go home later than 17 on winter and 15 on summer.

    Plus i do some freelancing job at home for extra cash.

    Agency+extra payments (i´ve got 15 payments for year)+freelancing= 31k/year post taxes.

    But i´m privileged, trust me, people like me hardly do more than 20k/yearly.

    Here is very hard to get a rent for less of 600 and flats are very, very expensive.

    I´m talking about basque country, BCN still can be more expensive, but you can get MORE work/rent offers there.
