the only reason anyone is 'going after' anyone is because the guy chased and broke a major record...
... and he didn't do it in a 'pretty' way... he's the DH... he gets to have someone run for his tubby ass every time he getz tired etc... and the only reason he's been allowed to play is so he can break the record...
... like I said before - Hank Aaron created the record... and he played his ass off... and was still 'playing' when he created the record...
... Bonds has been babied to the plate so he could break it... he's not 'playing'... he's not doing shit in the field... he barely runs the fucking bases...
... that's not 'playing the game' imho...
