this kid had to have been crawling around w/o a diaper or pants on. The article hints to injuries he sustained from penetration, which leads me to believe it was anal.
You have all made the point before: supervision. Don't naked leave a toddler crawling around on the floor with the dog. I realize you can't plan for everything in life, but this seems kinda common sense to me. Perhaps there was something far deeper and more disturbing going on where the parent even knew what was happening. Fucked up, but I'm just sayin...
