Was designing for Billabong/Mens M&D(boardshorts, trims, prints) and my wife and I just got fed up with the lifestyle, disrespect, etc. We have a 2 year old and wanted to raise her in a better environment. So we decided Austin was the place. started looking found a corp design job through someone i worked with at BBong. And moved out to the Austin area July 31 06. have been loving it(minus tx health insurance) ever since. Next Time you are driving through b sure to eat at the Monument Cafe.
