Shaaaamon!! they fucking rock hands down the hardest of pretty much any band ever, I never ever skip a song of thiers when it comes up on my ipod on shuffle not conciously but its just that no matter my mood i always feel better for dose of pixies.
Watched there unplugged concert a couple of weeks back and though it was good it was way to restrained they need the power of amp and distortion to compliment the banshee wail of the vocals...
Finally saw them live about two years back and they were so fucking head explodingly good it was like the perfect dream but was over in a blink of an eye...
