Well, it's all very well saying it's crap, but what was the brief? Maybe the London Olympic committee enforced it upon Wolf Olins to come up with this design as the final design. We've all been there when the client shows us something their kid made in school to announce that THIS IS THE LOGO!
It might not all be down to Wolf Olins.
There were countless of great designs on the same theme for the first round of logos so we ALL have an idea of what the logo SHOULD look like but it might not be what the client wanted, even if they are thick.
