I use Indesign mainly however some printers we use still only accept quark files. Which is a pain in the anus.
I think each studio has their preference but with Indesign & Illy & Photoshop all being bundled for less than the price of a quark upgrade, most studios will go the Indesign route me thinks. Learn Indesign but keep up to speed on quark too. you can never tell...
