    RE: hoverboards

    Has anyone seen the boxset for all the Back to the Futures?
    If so, have you watched the "making of" for part 2?

    There's a part where they're talking about the hoverboards, and the director is talking about how they got ahold of some to use for the movie. ACTUAL HOVERBOARDS...
    He said that they were an actual device, but "Parent groups" had pushed and lobbeyed for them to be banned from the start because they're terribly unstable and they were worried about so many kids getting hurt.
    Thus, the outcome was that they were never available for purchase.
    Well, all a joke pretty much I guess, according to this site:
