Nairn: You are assuming that speciation took place under Darwinian mechanisms. I didn't say that. Nor do I believe that. It would have been pre-programmed algorithmic type of speciation... kinda like what we see in the fossil record. The rapid appearance of distinct phyla. Again, I don't ascribe to the timeline of YEC's though.
If you are speaking of he Biblical God, He has completed his revelation of his redemptive plan in Jesus Christ. There is no longer need for extravagant miracles. The big miracle now is the change of heart that comes in receiving Christ and knowing him personally.
If He's sloppy and inconsistent, show me where.
