The story in full:
I bought a new raincoat this weekend. Of the walking/camping variety.
It's been many years since I bought a new coat of this sort but I was impressed by how much raincoat technology has moved on in the last few years. Not only does it keep me dry, it also doesn't make me sweat like my old coat did and is therefore more practical.
Mind you, it was bloody expensive considering it's just a coat for keeping me dry.
