in the trailer the new green goblin flies down and snatches up parker - shouldn't his spidey sense let him know that he's coming and do a backflip or sumthin?

In the last movie wasn't he riding his moped and a car almost ran him over, but just before it hit his moped his spidey sense went off and he jumped back over the car?
This really bugs me.
Maybe he's thinking too hard about Mary Jane's man-face and it fucked up his sense?
