I hate... hate.... HATE guns.
I've known people who have accidentally shot their legs off.
I've known people who have used them to commit suicide...
... and two of my friends in high school were both murdered w/guns. One via a drive-by (in my neighborhood)... and one via an argument on the basketball court (in my old apartment complex)...
... I can't think of one solid use for a gun in my life.
I mean... you're taught to leave the safety on... unloaded and locked away for 'safety' which makes sense...
... but wtf do I have the gun for if I can't get to it in a matter of seconds when I need it?
The only way a gun is a 'protection' is when it's loaded and on your side - like a cop would have it... else - it's more of a danger than anything...
