Well, I certainly agree that parts of downtown are weird, but most people exaggerate how unsafe it is to be honest.
Plus, downtown is big and it doesn't mean all of it is shady. For example, Little Tokyo, near the Staples Center, near the Toy Factories, etc.
I've also seen 500k for 600+sq. ft apartments, depending on where you're looking.
But I'm curious to see where the market goes this year.
