few things:
1) header - drop shadows. lose them.
2) background - that pattern is not doing much for me. a little too busy.
3) try moving the bird logo to the left of your name?
4) new york city is unnecessary
5) your divider gif has an extra black pixel on the right side. plus it looks a little strange... maybe try one that extends nearly across the page? or grey dots... dots with more spacing?
6) not digging the grunge font on the section nav. too hard to read. also the black bar that tells you where you are is way too heavy.
7) why are clients' names set in Verdana? seems grossly incongruous while everything else is set in Serif fonts. Pick a nice font and use sIRF (google it)
8) "top" button link should have an arrow pointing up? not anonymous dots.
9) put a form on your contact page. add a link to your CV/Resumé.
