haha..wow some great responses from me in here...i forgot about that...and don't worry she apologized the next morning.
but yeah i actually just bought an external WD 500GB HD for only $150. It rock! super sturdy, quiet, nice LED...good stuff.
like jaylarson said the cost of external vs. internal with external case is about the same these days. sorry, i was living back in 2006 there for that first post.
