oh wait i know exactly where you are.
you have tto kill all the dogs, the best way is to grab them and slice them open.
then after you kill all the hounds, double jump and smash all the hanging bodies. one of them you can actually grab when it falls, it will be in the upper left corner of that area you are fighting in...took me awhile too a [R1] symbol will appear when you get close enough to the dead corpse.
use the corpse as weight on the button and then go to the lever and pull it which will give you passage to the next area.
