haha, I stayed at the Best Western next to the Van Gogh museum, and it was always great - you can stink out the corridors with potent weed that by odor alone can floor older guests, they are very amenable to the 'we're going to stay an extra 5 days, let's negotiate a great deal' type conversations, the night porter is often found behind a cloud of hash smoke at 3am, yet despite this apparant lassez faire, the place is very efficient and clean, the reception staff are brisk and clipper in that way that only 25 yr old Dutch women can be, and you can eat a whole day's worth of food at the extended buffet breakfast...a pre-breakfast joint ensuring maximum eating possibilities...
I found it to be good value, about $70 a night, sharing, which for what you get and where you are is great..
