Sort out the 5 second pause on start up.
Put back the option (In Flash 5 but not in MX) of double clicking a frame to open ActionScript automatically.
Blurring fonts as already mentioned.
More open source deveopment possibilities.
Better intergration with Director. flash runs too slowly in director, which is not only a problem for Director to resolve, it has to be both parties working on it.
And finally, more obvious control over the the timeline, removing frames, adding frames, keyframes, blank keyframes, its all so bloody complicated and without reason, whereas Director is so obvious and easy.
