i know what u mean spl, I was going to ask for a raise before the end of the month. And no, I didn't apply to this job, I did freelance for them, and they liked me and now they offered me a full time job.

if your boss is ok with you doing freelance on the side i'd explain the situation and say i want to stay but $$$ make a difference etc.
really depends on what you need the most, change or money (or both).
