... In all seriousness, cheating has happened to me personally (admittedly, to a far lesser extent than your situation) and others. The same thing happens: the cheatee doubts themself, when in reality, the cheater was always the one with the problem.
Get the whole truth if you feel like hearing it, but don't let the pursuit of it consume you...
