im not really sure if sydney has the type of recruitment agencies like london. Over here theres recruitment agencies specific to industries, and being from the other side of oz(all be it a much smaller city), i dont know of any australian creative recruitment agencies at all. Im sure sydney must have some but it wont be anything like what is available over here. I do know that there are 'headhunters' who get people work in advertising etc, so if you can find one of them they might be able to pimp your folio round the place to all the right people. So going directly to the companies is definately the way to go in Aus i think. Much more-so than huge cities like london.
