hahaha, I would've complained about that too, so good thing you changed it beforehand.
I want to hug this cute site because it's so cute and uses cute cute sound effects that are extra cute. Also, I don't consider rainbows to be gay, but instead they are usually cute. Just not used excessively. And you haven't, because I don't see the rainbow colours over and over again in the folio.
I would have to agree about the navigation needing some improvement. Maybe keep it on the same page (on the left so the folio image is on the right side) or have a menu appear somewhere so you don't have to go "back" after you view a folio piece?
