i want to switch over from hotmail to gmail. how do you guys handle email switch? you just send out emails to all your friends and done?

(Nov 8 06, 07:23)when i switched from hotmail to yahoo every monday for 3 weeks i sent out a message from hotmail to everyone in my address book that i was switching over to yahoo.
the 4th week i switched over to yahoo and only logged back into hotmail for the next two months making sure no one was still using that account.
that was pretty much it.
it was pretty easy.
