The spokesman, William Gaillard, said international football was "in the end what people like the most".
"If you ask the English fans if they would like to see one English club win the Champions League or England win a championship, then I think you know the answer," he said.

I think Mr Gaillard would be suprised. I personally would much rather see Arsenal winning week in week out than the England team who are generally a bunch of jumped up primadonnas with an excessively high opinion of themselves.
International football hasn't been the highest level for a long time now and recent world cups have shown this. Does anyone think that even the likes of Italy and France wouldn't most likely be beaten by teams like Arsenal, ManU, Chelsea, Barcelona, Milan etc?
