i say it is complete bullshit.
buy what you can afford.
the one i bought for my ex was about 600 and it was really fuckin pretty.
no huge rocks, but it was very classy with 4 bagettes and a nice rock in the middle.
women who EXPECT more gripe me. it is SO not about how much money you spend. i will NEVER date a "spender" again. cuz a chick who thinks you should blow all your money on her doesnt know how to save money and in turn will ruin you.
and besides, back then... 600 was more than i made in a month.
