I have experience in Service Design, both in education and practice. Went to IDII out here in Italy for Interaction Deisgn.
Service Design is becoming pretty big business with a lot of organizations and institutions looking to understand and design/produce for consumers/users.
LiveWork is a good start, Also shops like IDEO and Fitch are keen on it these days. As well, lots of big companies, especially in the telecommunications business, are higher service designers these days.
