just got back from a truly moving, unearthly beautiful sail on a sailboat out past the statue of liberty in honor of jess yen. We scattered her ashes overboard, many of them blew back on us, into my wine glass, etc. cried and exchanged stories with her wild group of farflung friends many of whom we had never met, including her younger brother Jeff. Prilla and I swigged red wine from a bottle the whole way home.
