Islamic extremists (terrorists) are so very fortunate that hiding within civilian population is acceptable otherwise this "war" wouldn't be a “war”, instead it would be “over”.

Welcome to the new war, same as the old war. WHat, do you think they're going to line up on a battle field and fight M-1 Abrams tanks and missle armed drones with AK-47's and second hand societ rocket launchers? I can't fault them for fighting the only way they can and survive. The real thinking has to be done on the Western side to come up with answers to this new warfare, because even if we win, we lose...When you're strong and beat someone weak it's not much of a victory, and when you strong and lose to someone weak it's just sad...
