milan...his garment lacked construction, it lacked a look and feel of a Miss Universe Pagent. the colours were scary and ugly. the design was poor and he deserved to be sent home. many of them deserve to be sent home as well. i felt it was a great choice to send him home...he took full responsibility for his actions, he is a man and not a chump. i respect him for that, but his concept didnt follow the initial instructions...this is a world wide international viewing event...his garment looked like he covered crap all over the bust of the model, Miss USA specificly instructed not to have her bust be made more prominent...he did exactly what she had asked not to do. the fact that he got sent home and Angela did not doesnt mean that he was worse as a designer than she was, he was Team Leader and he made his team fail.
Angela is a poor teamate and is the weakest link of the design team, but it wasnt her lack of effort it was her Team's Leader who failed as well as not giving good direction to make it work!!!
i feel this year's contestants arent all fully understanding the great exposure they are getting, and a chance to design with the eyes of millions around the world is a chance that can not be taken lightly and Milan ...well he didnt follow direction and he did what he thought would work without seeing the larger picture of whom he is designing for.
for this he totally deserved being sent home.
