not that I am any expert, but you do that by building a relationship with them.
You need to listen to their needs and the come up solutions that meet them in an innovative way. When they understand your ideas, they'll get onboard. When clients feels that they aren't being listened to, they get very hands on and narrow minded. Also, you might need to manage up with your reactionary account people.
