    Careful, it depends on your usage.

    First: From what frame rate to what frame rate?
    If you are trying to go from 30fps to 24fps, you are not going to achieve a movie look by simply changing the frame rate. You still have interlacing of frames to deal with. You can mimic it a bit by doing that and apply certain color correction apps like Magic Bullet Suite.

    You can alos look into the process of 3:2 pulldown through something like After Effects, in which footage shot at 24fps is converted to 29.97 for editing and VFX, and then transferred back. That might be of use.
