the ratio of the page is slightly tricky. It is the generic or default of most all digital cameras. My first try I formatted a 11x8.5 template @ 300 dpi and then did all pages at that rez and size. (type also) Just keep in mind the crop, keep everything away from the edge at least 1/2 inch.
I have done many boks, and one other website I really love is shutterfly for books. It is run by Adobe. The website is http://www.shutterfly.com - you upload your images there, basically click and build on the site. It's very easy and the quality is just as good as Apple iPhoto. I've done around 10 or so there. the cards are super good too.
