I just completed a large web refresh project that integrated with Typo3. I didn't get to use it that much but it was raved about by the people who do use it. Very resource heavy, an immense program. Also needs to be customized with certain plug-ins to really make it work well. It must have valid code to work. The site we were working on has some insane amount of pages (~ 2500) so I would say it best suits large sites.
